Where in the World Wednesday | Week 16 & 17

Week 15 is just one of the most beautiful places on earth, the Greek Islands.  My visit to the Mediterranean was on my honeymoon and it was a wonderful time, probably one of the best trips I’ve ever taken and it was with my favorite travel partner – my husband.

The Methow Valley | Winthrop

I’ve never met anyone that didn’t like the Methow Valley.  Everyone that goes there, goes back again and again and again.  There is skiing, mountain biking, hiking, running, swimming, rafting, horseback riding and time well spent with family and friends.  There is something for everyone! It’s become one of my favorite parts of the NW.   I’ve had the opportunity to visit Winthrop in the Winter and the Spring and I look forward to having some fun there in the Summer time…I cannot wait.

Where in the World Wednesday | Week 15

I’ve got another 39 weeks of my little project and I’m surprised I’ve stuck with it this long.  Projects like this are a big challenge for me, that’s why I decided to do it.  Week 14 is the beautiful Ballard Locks.  If you live here, I hope you’ve visited.  If you visit me, I promise to take you there.

CrossFit Games 13.5 | Finding the Fittest on Earth

A little disappointed in myself for not completing the last two workouts for the CrossFit games.  I could give you every excuse as to why I didn’t do them but I’m not going to, what I am going to share is that after missing 13.4, I lost my Mojo.

4 minute AMRAP of:
15 Thrusters (100 / 65 lbs)
15 Chest to bar Pull-ups
*4 minute bonus for every 90 reps (3 rounds) completed.

When was the last time you went to listen to some beautiful chamber music?  Check out this awesome group, Play On! Here is the information on their up coming event at Haller Lake United Methodist Church.  I’m proud to say that my sister-in-law, Mary Jo DuGaw, and her husband are both a part of this group and they are fun to watch perform.  I hope you can join them on Friday, April 19th, 2013 at 7:30pm.
